Yo. A couple up from Andre's Pool Party of his band, Gaza Striptease, and Weed Hounds. I also shot some footage of Girlfriends at Death By Audio a week ago or so. That was fun. I missed them this past weekend because my gosh darn head has been spinning from an ear infection / swimmer's ear / whatever. Later.

I just put up those couple of new Big Eyes snapshots from the Stolen Sleeves Collective show. I love that band. Also up is a little photomontage of Obits from the Williamsburg Waterfront. I totally forgot I went to that until I got that film back. It was a pretty good time, aside from the blaring sunlight and thick heat. Obits had water guns. They played a fairly short set, I wish I had made it to that super secret show I heard about after the fact. Oh well. Also, I missed those Deathcycle reunions thanks to my bank account. I heard some money was raised for Lee's benefit so that's what really matters. More soon.

Hey. So I started uploading some shots of Boston's favorite garage band, Girlfriends, from our recent tour of the South. So far I've scanned the shots from 4 shows and I have a few to go. Not only are they incredibly talented, they are also a really nice bunch of funny folks. I enjoyed seeing them night after night, their sets never got old. Pick up their new single Government Seizure from Aurora 7. Up soon will be a few shots from my current favorite Brooklyn trio, Big Eyes from a show at 538 Johnson Stolen Sleeves Collective. Their demo will be available soon from Evil Weevil on 7".
So tonight and tomorrow will be two benefit shows remembering our friend Lee Altomare. Deathcycle and Sick Of Talk will be reuniting tonight at the Broadway Bar on Long Island, and tomorrow Deathcycle will be playing at Party Expo in Brooklyn. I will do my best to be at both but I am short on cash at the moment so the expense of getting to these shows might prevent me from going unfortunately. Lee was a wonderful human being that was one of the most genuine and down to earth people I've had the chance of meeting in the past few years. He'll be missed by the NY/LIHC communities.
